Annual Beautification Day has Porter Ridge Elementary School Looking Great!

Beautification workers stopping for a break and to admire their hard work!

Porter Ridge Elementary School Beautification Day was held on Thursday, May 8, 2014, from 2-4 P.M. This annual event provides an opportunity for the students, parents, faculty members and community to help spruce up and take pride in our school campus. The Beautification Day was coordinated by Mrs. Michele Turner, Fourth Grade Teacher with the support of many of our students, parents and faculty members.

Families donated items to plant and were an integral part of the afternoon event. The courtyard and the front of the school building had a great deal of weeding done and planters were refurbished with new plants. Many thanks to these hardworking team members for making Porter Ridge Elementary School ready for Spring!
