Graduates of Excellence
Congratulations to Megan Mulrain, Union County Early College 13th grade student, who was recognized last month by Dr. Tiffany Evans, South Piedmont Community College’s Vice President for Academic Affairs, as a SPCC Graduate of Excellence. The annual Graduates of Excellence Luncheon and Awards Ceremony was held on April 28, 2014, in the college’s Conference Center. Nine SPCC graduates were recognized for their excellence in the classroom and beyond: Kate Lundeen, School of Arts & Sciences; Megan Mulrain, School of Arts & Sciences; Amy Morrison, School of Arts & Sciences (also received the “Great Within the 58” Academic Excellence Award); Irina Makovskaya, Sonography; Lourdes Logan, Sonography; LaDonna Sasscer, Sonography; Crystal Greene, Early Childhood Education; Angela Santos, Early Childhood Education, and Devon Sawyer, Nursing.
Megan is one of Union County Early College’s 52 graduating seniors and one of the 36 UCEC seniors who have also graduated from South Piedmont Community College with an Associate Degree.
