New Panther Night a Success

On Thursday evening Piedmont Middle School Faculty and Staff opened its doors to “Welcome” future Panthers! This event was held to provide an opportunity to ease new Panther families into their transition to Piedmont and give them a chance to view our beautiful campus prior to their first day of school in 2014 – 2015. Parents and students perused the gym which held displays of ALL extracurricular activities, clubs, etc. available at PdMS. Our bleachers were full as Dr. Anne Radke spoke about the “fears” some students, and parents may have coming to a new school, but were quickly put at ease after viewing a wonderful video montage chronicling the events of just ONE year at PdMS. How lucky we are to have such a wonderful opportunity to welcome new families to our amazing school. We thank all who participated in this event to make it successful and inviting to our new families.
