Bash in the 50’s

Students dressed in 50's attire for the BASH

On Friday May 30th, 2014 the 5th graders at Shiloh Elementary attended the first annual BASH (Bulldogs Afterschool Sock Hop). The afternoon included the 5th grade girls wearing 50’s outfits including poodle skirts and Pink Lady jackets. The 5th grade boys also dressed up in items such as leather jackets, white t-shirts , and rolled jeans. Staff from all grade levels were on hand to help out and get into the spirit by dressing up themselves. Students were treated to Root-beer and Sprite floats, cupcakes, and popcorn. Activities included photo booth pictures (Mr. Hasty brought his very cool sports car), yearbook signing, and lots and lots of dancing. Students Kenan Dean, Sandra Carrillo, Grace Miles, Jaleah Ladson, and Gabby Montes all agreed to the following: “ BASH was Awesome!” In conclusion, BASH was amazing and the 4th graders will love it next year!
