FHHS FFA Tool ID Team Places 3rd in State Contest
FFA Students from FHHS competed in the State FFA Agricultural Tool Identification Contest in Raleigh during the 86th North Carolina State FFA Convention. In this competition, students must identify 40 tools from a list of 187 hand tools and correctly match 20 definitions/uses to the appropriate tool names.
There was a record-breaking number of 61 total teams in the competition this year, and Forest Hills brought home 3rd place overall for the second year in a row. The Forest Hills High School Tool ID Team consists of Andrew Rape, Ethan Burnette, Chase Strickland, and Paul Randall, and their advisor is FHHS Agriculture Teacher Jonathan Deese.
