Start Your Engines Poplin Families: The Poplin PTA Has a New Website!
The Poplin Elementary PTA is excited to announce that we have a new PTA Website! Some of the highlights of the new PTA website are: a tentative 2014-2015 calendar of events, a spot to register and purchase your PTA membership, and volunteer opportunities like the upcoming Open House on Thursday, August 21, 2014.
PTA President, Robin Denton said, "Our goal is to have a more efficient and advanced mode of communication with our members." Also new this year PTA members receive discount pricing for all PTA sponsored events!
To register and begin using the Poplin PTA website:
1. Go to http://www.poplinpta.my-pta.org/
2. Register on the site.
3. Go to the "Join" tab and complete your profile information and click "submit". You will be able to update your profile information to include your child(s) teacher information once we receive those assignments.
4. Go to the "Store" tab and purchase the Membership Package you want. You will be able to save time in line the night of Open House by purchasing your membership in advance. We will have your membership "extras" (Checkered Flag Balloon, Patriot Package items) at Open House ready for you to pick up. If you are not able to attend Open House, we will send these items home with your children the first week of school.
5. Pay online for your membership through our secure website! You have the option of paying online with a credit card or you may also note that you will pay by check. We can accept those checks onsite at Open House or you may submit your check the first week of school.
