5th Grade Ecosystem Diorama Projects Are On Display!
The 5th Grade Ecosystem Diorama Project took hard work and a lot of time. Some of the ecosystems represented were: the desert, the coral reef, the tropical rain forest, the Arctic, and the grasslands. Fifth graders used a variety of materials such as shoe boxes, pizza boxes, Play-Doh, Legos, toilet paper rolls, sand, toy animals, cotton balls, rocks, pictures and paper to make them look as life-like as possible. “If I had to pick one word to describe this project, it would have to be FUN, “ said Jonathan Talley from Mrs. Lightner’s class. Zyon Porter said, “Everything was awesome!” Mrs. Lightner herself quoted, “It was a great way for the students to express what they learned creatively.” The projects are on display in room 380 for the entire school to see. Make sure you stop by for a visit!
