Kindergarten blooms with volunteers
Kindergarteners show appreciation for all their volunteer support.
Kindergarten is already enjoying and appreciating the wonderful parent volunteers. We have already cleaned out and planted flowers in our window flower bed, with the help of Mrs. Blackwell. It is so good to be able to have students experience these kinds of things first hand, so that when we study "Living and Non-Living" for Science, all students have some background knowledge. She has even begun a vegetable garden bed for us, with student labor!
Another parent and a grandparent have also enhanced our lives in just two weeks of school, as they have prepared booklets, filed papers, and worked with students. We love our volunteers!
