Cavaliers Enjoy Club Walk

Sophomore Jared Knight (left) and junior Paul Crowell share information about the FFA during the annual Club Walk.

Do you love to read? Perhaps you would rather take part in a school environmental project? Maybe your favorite way to spend your spare time is learning more about your favorite subject? Whatever your interest, CHS has a club for you! From clubs featuring world languages to community service to favorite hobbies to leadership opportunities, CHS offers it all.

The annual CHS Club Walk was held on September 19. The Club Walk is an event that showcases and advertises all the available clubs and organizations in our school. Students were invited to browse through the displays during lunch, read about the clubs, ask questions of current members and sponsors, and even sign up for membership.

Clubs offer our students an opportunity to connect with faculty members and other students through common interests. We offer a broad array of clubs as they greatly enrich the experiences our students have with respect to socialization and leadership.

“Cuthbertson students are highly creative and continuously come up with new and exciting clubs to add to our offering,” said Assistant Principal Andy Brooks.

“Turn-out this year was great. We had lots of students sign up for many of our different clubs. Students, if you haven't gotten involved in something yet, it is not too late. Enrich your experience by getting involved!” Brooks said.
