East Union's C2J Club Raises Money for Hydrocephalus
East Union has several students and teachers affected by hydrocephalus. This is a condition where fluid builds up in the brain. One million people in the USA have this condition. East Union’s C2J Club (Committed to Jesus) wanted to help the Hydrocephalus Foundation find a cure and sponsored a school-wide raffle as a fund raiser. The two prizes were a VIP lunch to be catered in to the winner and 4 friends from any eatery in the area and a raffle for a gift card for two to Sun Valley Movies.
Ashlen Porter, 7th grader, was the winner of the movie gift card and 6th grader, Damion Axley won the VIP lunch. Thank you Eagles for raising $202 to give toward the research for the cure!
