Sandy Ridge Girl Scout Troop 1847 Goes Wild!
Next, it was off to the “animal restaurant kitchen” where the girls learned how much hard work it takes to feed each animal their very specific diet. From carrots and meat to mice and eucalyptus, each individual species has a “recipe card” including amounts, preparation specifics, and a feeding time table. After s’mores and a final hike through the zoo (past sleeping elephants who stand on 3 feet while dozing!) it was time to hit the hay. It was a walk on the wild side they’ll never forget!
