Pirate Presentation on Conservation of Natural Resources

The National Theatre for Children presented "The Treasure Trove of Conservation Cove" presented by Duke Energy.

Benton Heights Elementary School of the Arts Welcomed "The National Theatre for Children" as they presented "The Treasure Trove of Conservation Cove" presented by Duke Energy.

The show featured a pirate who encountered other characters like Star Fish who wasted away so many natural resources without even thinking about it. Students enjoyed the antics of the Pirate who engaged all students in learning how to be conservative and not waste energy and other resources.

Duke Energy provided booklets for each student to take home and the opportunity for each family to fill out a return card or call in to receive a FREE treasure chest mailed to them with energy saving products like light bulbs.

Thanks to the National Theatre for Children and Duke Energy for making this special presentation possible and let's all do our part to protect our resources today and for tomorrow.
