PTA blasts off with BINGO.
Marshville Elementary PTA opened the school year with a bang at the first meeting. There was a good attendance for the usual business of introducing the administration, PTA officers, voting on the budget, and explaining the fundraiser. The real fun started when BINGO was brought out. There was a whole table of enticing prizes waiting to be won. Laughter and smiles filled the cafeteria as “BINGO!” was heard time and time again. The lucky winners made their way to the table to claim their prizes. Young and old alike waited in anticipation for the next number to be called. Finally, it was time for the grand prize. The lucky winner of an iPad Mini was Kerri Edwards, the STEMS teacher.
Parents and faculty were reminded to collect and send in Box Tops for education, Tyson A+ labels, and Campbell’s soup labels. These items bring extra money to our school, and every little bit adds up. The funds are used to keep our PTA organization going, and make it possible for them to do all the things they do for our school and faculty.
