Terrific Beginning to a New Year!

Being terrific means extremely good or excellent.
Each month teachers choose a Terrific Kid that exemplifies a positive character trait.
We recently had our first Terrific Kid celebration of the 2014-2015 school year and our students show that!
The character trait for this month’s Terrific Kid is friendship.
Students were chosen based on how friendly they are to their classmates and students throughout the school year.

 

Our local (Monroe, NC) Kiwanis Club came to Marshville Elementary to acknowledge our friendship.students that exemplify the character trait,
The Kiwanis Club began in 1915.
Their goal is to strengthen communities and serve children.
