SHOW ME is a success at Shiloh!

Shiloh hosted its first SHOW ME event on Friday, November 11.

Shiloh hosted its first SHOW ME event on Friday, November 11. SHOW ME stands for “Shiloh’s Open Working Media Event.” Originally organized as a way for parents and students to check out books from our Media Center after school hours, it also turned into an exciting book swap. During the week of the event, students brought in their gently-used books from home. They were then able to select other books from our book swap that took place during SHOW ME. Shiloh staff were on hand during the event to assist parents and students. Shiloh’s staff even created bookmarks specific to our grade levels that contained suggestions for choosing just-right books as well as various reading strategies. The Shiloh staff is always willing to try something new when it comes to helping our students to grow and succeed. We are very pleased with the turnout for our first SHOW ME, and we look forward to hosting more events in the future. Keep reading, Bulldogs!
