Greetings from Australia!
Ms. Mueller’s class had a visitor from Australia named Kevin. He talked about the animals from Australia like the wannabe, kangaroo and the wombat. He also talked about games and holidays. They celebrate the Queen’s birthday and they don’t celebrate Halloween or 4th of July. They play Cricket, too. He also showed us some Australian money like the 50 and the 20 dollar bill. They have crocodiles but no alligators, amazing right? This might be hard to believe but they had a flood up to 12 to 14 feet high! He also talked about the Outback which is NOT a Restaurant. They also have a wrecked ship that washed up on land and is slowly sinking into the sand, cool right! Australia’s Outback has deadly animals and bugs like scorpions, snakes, and mosquitos, and I thought bug bites where bad. Although Australia is a desert they have lots of beaches and lakes. In Australia, they eat wombat and kangaroo stew. Australia is the only place in the world that scientists haven’t found dinosaur fossils. They even found them in Antarctica. Kangaroos can jump up to 60 feet high! Amazing!
