Mrs. Powell's Annual Gingerbread Contest
If you walked into Mrs. Powell’s class on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, you would have seen big bowls of M&Ms, Red Hots, licorice, pretzels, lollipops, candy canes and tubs of icing!
Her students were working on their masterpieces—their gingerbread houses! This is an activity the students look forward to every year.
“I think they eat as much candy as they put on their houses” said Mrs. Powell. Throughout the activity, Lauryn kept saying, “I love icing!” as she licked it off her fingers.
This is a fun activity the kids always enjoy. It showcases their creativity and gets them in the holiday spirit!
