Students Pass Adobe Certified Associate Test

The Honors Film Production Studio 1 class at Sun Valley High School has marked a new record. One hundred percent (100%) of the students passed the Adobe Certified Associate test. This is an industry standard test that prepares students for a career in Film Editing and Production. The class is taught by Mr. Bill Vivian, who stated, “I am very proud that these students took the initiative to take this class and learn an industry skill. Many broadcasting and film companies require this as the first step in getting an interview.”

This is the seventh year SVHS has offered this class. Film Production Studio 2 is also offered as a completer class for this section, leading into Broadcasting 1 and 2. Film Production students are taught to use the Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 suite, which is an industry current software package used in this business.

Please see Mr. Vivian or a counselor if interested in taking this course.
