Beginning with the 2013-14 school year, per legislation, school performance grades of (A-F) based on test scores, and for high schools, additional indicators that measure college and career readiness, are being reported. The School Performance Grades are based on student achievement (80%) and growth (20%). The School Performance Grades results from 2013-14 were released to the public for the first time on Thursday, February 5, 2014.

In this new grading system, Marvin Ridge High School achieved an overall score of 91%, which equates to an A letter grade in the state’s rating scale.
