Gong Xi Fa Cai

Kindergarten classes have been busy celebrating Chinese New Year, or ‘Spring Festival’, this past week with a wealth of learning activities. 2015 happens to be year of the goat! The children enjoyed learning about Chinese culture, traditions and ways in which the New Year is celebrated. Did you know red is considered lucky? We had so much fun making paper lanterns and dragon crafts. We also found out that our Kindergarten friends who were born in 2008 are the year of the rat and our friends born in 2009 the year of the Ox. Why not find out more by reading about different personality attributes that are associated with each animal? All students would like to wish you ‘Gong Xi Fa Cai’!
