Dexter Harding Signs with Cobras

Coach Tim Cline of CCC&TI and Dexter Harding

The Caldwell Community College men's basketball team signed Dexter Harding to a letter of intent to play next season for the Cobras.  Harding averaged 11.7 points per game, 9.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals for Weddington this past season.  He had a career high in points against Anson with 26 and he also had 14 rebounds in that game.  He had a career high in rebounds against Cuthbertson with 16 and he also had 13 points.
Dexter is an extremely hard worker and very competitive.  We know he will succeed at Caldwell Community College. Caldwell Community college plays a very competitive schedule in the NJCAA and competes for District and Regional championships every year. Dexter will be able to play a more natural position on the wing for the Cobras. Coach Cline is very excited to sign Dexter to a full scholarship and thinks he will make an immediate impact. Dexter plans to stay at Caldwell for two years and work on his academic's as well as basketball, with hopes of transferring to a four year institution afterwards. We wish Dexter luck in his bright future.
