Change for People Who Changed Society: Poplin’s First Wax Museum

Fourth-grade teacher Kelly Hagerman, Jacob Laney, Griffin Appleyard, and Tyrese Acker pose during the Wax Museum.

After researching a famous person who changed society, fourth grade students held a Wax Museum. The community, families, and the whole school was invited to the fourth grade wing of the school to visit the museum on Friday, March 6, 2015. Visitors were asked to bring in change in order to bring the famous person to life. As money was deposited, fourth grade students came to life and shared information they had learned with the visitors. The money raised will go locally to help a family in need and also globally to a charity.
