On March 26th at Shiloh Elementary from 4-6PM, 5th Graders showed off all of their hard work on the Heritage Projects at the 2nd Annual Heritage Night. Ashley Gordillo, from Mrs. Lightner's class said, "It was a great experience." The 5th grade teachers, Mrs. Lightner, Mrs. Barrows, Mrs. Ganc, and Mrs. Potts set up the tri-fold boards and notebooks Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Lightner was pleased the community came to share in the night and thought it was a great display of student work! Mrs. Ganc said, "Each year we do it, it gets better and better!" Mrs. Barrows like seeing the amount of creativity students showed on their display board. "It was interesting to see how different students present what they learned about the same country." Mrs. Potts really enjoyed Heritage Night and liked seeing the families admiring the boards.
This event was a fun learning experience for students, parents, and teachers. The 4th graders should look forward to doing the Heritage Project next year!
