Spring Chromebook Assessments at Secondary School Locations
Technology Services engineers have been conducting Chromebook assessments at every secondary school location throughout the months of April and May. To date, over 16,800 devices have been assessed with five schools remaining. The rationale behind the assessment was multi-fold; engineers evaluated the functionality of devices ensuring performance for end of year testing, retained and then sent broken devices to the depot for repair and as a result were able to obtain a baseline when planning for summer repairs.
Technology Depot engineers partnered with school-based engineers and administration to make these assessments run quickly and smoothly. Each school developed a custom plan for their building that best aligned with their schedule and daily operations.
