CATA Participates in Relay for Life

Children show off their airbrushed faces at the Hands Helping Others tent during Relay for Life.

On Friday, May 1st the Central Academy Hands Helping Others Club participated in the annual Union County “Relay for Life” event at Sun Valley High School. The students raised almost $500 by selling henna tattoos and airbrushed face painting designs.  In addition, some of the funds were raised by selling the Relay for Life footprints for a dollar a piece. Many thanks go out to all of the students that volunteered their time, on a Friday evening, in order to raise money for cancer research.
