Shiloh Appreciates Our Teacher Assistants and Tutors
Teacher Appreciation Week is in full swing, and there is no doubt that Shiloh teacher assistants and tutors are some of the hardest working and dependable people we know!
Our teacher assistants are tireless and will do anything for the Shiloh students. Their day starts and ends with monitoring students in the cafeteria and car rider line to ensure safe arrival and departure. They do this day in and day out, in the rain, snow, heat and cold, and you will never hear them complain!
Their day continues in the classroom where they work with small groups of students to instruct them in reading, writing and math. Shiloh teacher assistants and tutors attend professional development offerings and work closely with teachers so they can provide the best instruction to support what is being taught in the classroom.
In addition to all of this, they are always available to cover classrooms, allowing for teachers to attend meetings and planning opportunities.
On the very week we are appreciating their hard work, they provided breakfast for the office staff. This is an example of just how selfless they are everyday!
I think all staff would agree that our teacher assistants and tutors are invaluable! Above all, they are patient and they care about the students. School would not be the positive and safe place it is without them.
Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to all of our teacher assistants and tutors!
