First Grade Students Explore Sea Life
On May 7, first grade students visited the Sea Life Aquarium at Concord Mills to expand their research unit of sea life animals. Students have been comparing and contrasting animal habitats, physical features, predators, food they consume, and fun facts of sea animals from around the world. While at the aquarium, students were able to explore all sorts of sea animals that can be found around the world. The following week students created dioramas of the animal they researched using recycled products and shared their projects with other classes. First grade had so much fun on their field trip seeing the animals in action!
