Shiloh hosts “Grade Level Night” for our K-2 classes!

On Tuesday, August 4, Shiloh opened its doors to all parents of students in grades K-2.

On Tuesday, August 4, Shiloh opened its doors to all parents of students in grades K-2. This annual “Grade Level Night” is a special time that our teachers take to present important information about the new school year to their parents. Parents are given an opportunity to learn about their child’s daily schedule, classroom expectations, grading and homework policies, and about the curriculum as well. Kindergarten teacher Mr. Snyder stated, “Many parents were eager to learn more about helping their child succeed at school.”

The Shiloh teachers spend a great amount of time in preparing for these events. Several Teacher Assistants also volunteered and helped assist the teachers during the evening. Our 3-5 teachers will host their Grade Level Night on Thursday, August 6 from 7-8 PM. Please direct any questions about the new school year to your child’s teacher.

First Grade teacher Mrs. McCraney summed up the evening perfectly: “Our Grade Level evening was a success! We felt that the parents left having an understanding of what first grade is all about.”
