Summer Fun For Rocky River Families and Staff
Students, families and staff at RyRES have had a relaxing fun summer involved in many activities. Many trips were made to the beach and mountains. Staff were busy enjoying their children and grandchildren, visiting friends and family, hanging out at the pool, hiking and swimming, enjoying the milestones for new babies born during last school year, Carowinds, local parks, Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens, Discovery Place, Hilton Head, Biltmore Estates (Asheville), Zoos, Aquariums, History Museums and other local activities. The students enjoyed many of the same activities and visited some of the same places. Several students visited with grandparents and other family during their summer break.
The RyRES families and staff visited several of the 50 states from Virginia, Rhode Island, Glacier National Park (Montana),Michigan, Florida, New Jersey, New York, South Carolina, Tennessee, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Delaware, Washington, DC, San Diego ( California), Wisconsin, Chicago (Illinois), Colorado, Carlsbad Caverns National Park (New Mexico) and Alabama. International travels included -Sailing on the Danube, visiting Vienna and Germany, England, Cancun and Chichen Itza (a famous Mayan temple recently named one of the new 7 Wonders of the World, and Mexico.
New and old adventures were around each corner of the world as new memories were created by all. As summer break ends we look forward to a wonderful school year with our students and their families.
