Language Arts Students Write Letters of Appreciation

On September 11th, Seventh Grade Language Arts students took time out to write letters of appreciation to Union County Law Enforcement Officers.  Students practiced their letter writing skills while sending encouragement to our local officers and showing our support of the brave men and women who put their lives on the line for the citizens of our community.  There are more than 300 law enforcement officers employed in Union County.  With the help of the entire Seventh grade class, we will be able to send each and every officer a hand-written note to show our community support!

Excerpts from some of the letters:

“I appreciate everything you do for our community.”

“You risk your life to protect us.”

“Officers like you give us so much protection every day.”

“Our community feels really safe because you guys are always patrolling the road to keep up safe.”

“Every time you respond to a call, you are helping our community.”

“You make a ginormous difference – Keep up the good job!”

“Thank you for protecting my family.”
