NAHS Sponsoring Childhood Cancer Awareness Event
The National Art Honor Society at Piedmont High School can most definitely be described as a club that gives back and cares for the community. The month of September is used as an awareness month for those battling childhood cancer. The NAHS is spearheading the sale of $2 yellow bandannas and challenging other clubs on campus to also take part in this effort. There are several students at Piedmont who have overcome this illness, are currently fighting it, or have lost siblings due to childhood cancer. NAHS wishes to honor them by selling these bandannas and bringing the entire student body together for a “yellow-out” on Friday, September 18th.
