Top Fundraiser for Jump Rope for Heart Enjoys Lunch
Sam Sinyard from Mrs. Marwitz's Second Grade had a special lunch with Mr. Jeff Pucek for being the top fundraiser for Jump Rope for Heart in the Spring. He raised over $680.00. We thank Sam for all his hardwork in fundraising and Wendy’s for donating a lunch for the event.
Jump Rope for Heart is the American Heart Association’s fundraising organization that helps to educate the students about heart disease. Some of the forms of education deal with: living a healthy lifestyle through diet and exercise, understanding the need to help through fundraising and how heart disease affects people of all ages. It also informs students on the many ways that the money helps those with heart problems: new surgical techniques, research for medicine and better ways to treat patients and preventative education to avoid heart disease.
