Sculptures Arrive on Campus

Sculptures created by Tom Risser arrived at BHESA on May 26 and were placed in the natural area outside the fifth grade wing. Students were so excited to see Mr. Risser and his helpers install each piece.

Tom Risser, a sculptor from Waxhaw, entered into a partnership with BHESA to inspire students to create artwork that is meaningful and that will inspire other students in the future. Mr. Risser is passionate about working with students and is excited about integrating arts by taking actual student artwork and recreating it into a three-dimensional form.

Many thanks to Mr. Risser for being a part of our students' lives.
