2010-2011 Just Around the Corner

For your convenience all supply lists can be accessed by clicking on the left side of the menu bar. We thank you all in advance for any additional items that you may purchase.

We will have representatives from Transportation, Child Nutrition, and Afterschool here during Open House for your convenience should you need any of these services.

Please remember that our kindergarteners enter school on a staggered schedule. We provide this type of entry to help our little ones become acclimated to the school environment. In their small groups they take tours and are able to ask as many questions as possible.

We would like to remind everyone of several important items:

1. If your child is a car rider, please do not drop your child off before 7:45am. 2. If your child is a car rider, for their safety, please do not drop them off if there is no adult supervision. 3. If you arrival after 8:13am, please walk your child into the main office. 4. Please bring your photo ID with you when picking your child up for appointments and early dismissal. 5. Please be advised that your child's education is important to us. Hence we discourage early pick ups unless its an emergency.

We do allow parents at the beginning of the year to walk their children to class for the first two weeks of the year. We allow parents to eat lunch with their students once we have been in school for a month. Hence mark your calendars for Sept. 27th which will be the first day parents are allowed to eat lunch with their child. For those of you that are new to SVES, when you come to eat with your child. Just a reminder, parents are only allowed to eat with their own children. We need written permission from any other child's parents that wishes to join you and your child for lunch.  We have separate tables for you and your child to enjoy lunch with one another. Our PTO will host the school store again this year which is only open on Fridays during lunch.
