Welcome, Freshmen Cavaliers!

CHS hosted Freshman Orientation on August 10, 2010. 241 rising ninth graders visited CHS to tour the school, get information, have questions answered, and hear from several staff members. Principal Rob Jackson spoke to the students encouraging them to become engaged in school activities and giving them important course information. Assistant Principal Kim Warr welcomed the students and gave information about school life. Mrs. Elenia Daniels, Lead Guidance Counselor (pictured) told the students about the role of Guidance and how students could get assistance with schedules. Student Council President Trent Johnson invited the freshmen to get involved and look into the upcoming Student Council positions that would be available. Students were given opportuntities to socialize with the Student Council and Principal's Council members, enjoy refreshments, get bus information, order PE uniforms, and browse spirit wear.
