7th Grade Magnificent Moodlers
Students in Mrs. Lesa Goodman’s 7th Grade Communication Skills classes have enjoyed completing online assignments on Moodle. So far this year, students have learned how to download and upload documents, participate in discussion forums, and post journal entries. The use of technology in the classroom makes students feel excited about learning. Classmates, Justin McWhorter, Stephanie Carton, and Gregory Barksdale are actively engaged in online learning through Moodle.
Student, Tabitha Thomas, posts to an online discussion forum where students in different classes are posting character traits about the current novel being read in class.
Another student, Natasha Kislear, uses VisualThesaurus.com to help her define words from the reading. Students have been introduced to many online resource tools that they will be able to use once they receive their Netbooks in January
According to Mrs. Goodman, students in class have been very attentive and receptive to online work. Classmates, Justin McWhorter, Stephanie Carton, and Gregory Barksdale are actively engaged in online learning through Moodle.
