Showcase of Classrooms

To encourage and promote excellence in teaching this year Parkwood recognized teachers and their classrooms in the Showcase of Classrooms. Several teachers were nominated by their peers, and then teachers visited those classrooms to vote for winners in specific categories. The winners were, Mr. Vinson Covington for the AAA-Appealing Atmosphere Award, Ms. Julie Johnson Give It Up Award-for the best use of student work displays, Mr. Adcock and Mr. Morton for Best By Design Award-for best arrangement of the classroom, Ms. Bess That’s What’s Goin’ On Award-for the class that lets you know what’s taking place without actually stepping foot into the classroom, and Ms. Huntley with the A-Z Award-for the most organized teacher. Congratulations to the teachers for showcasing their classrooms!
