UCEC visits with NC First Lady

North Carolina First Lady Mary Easley, wife of Gov. Mike Easley, took a moment to visit recently with the staff of Union County Early College during the New Schools Project Summer Institute in Winston-Salem. Early College High Schools are one of the components of the New Schools Project endeavor by NCDPI. Ms. Easley was the keynote speaker at the summer institute’s closing luncheon and spoke in support of Governor Easley's project for students to Learn and Earn college credits while enrolled in high school.
