Students Enjoy a Tea Party
How would you motivate farmers and store keepers to march off to war?
Mrs. Williams' classes are studying the Revolutionary War and have explored the physical and personal hardships soldiers experienced at Valley Forge. In response to this time in history, students wrote speeches to encourage and motivate soldiers who experienced much suffering at this encampment. As students shared their words of motivation, they enjoyed tea and cookies in honor of the patriots who protested taxes by dumping English tea in Boston harbor.
We are grateful to those who sacrificed so much to enable us to enjoy being Americans.
