Prospect’s Acts of Kindness (PAK) is Helping Out in the Community

PAK distributed 43 hanging baskets and handpainted cards to the residents at Union Park.

PAK is a new after school club at Prospect. It stands for Prospect's Acts of Kindness. They have been working on projects to spread kindness in and around our school and community. So far they have given appreciation cards to the staff and made bookmarks for students in 2nd - 5th grade. Take a look at the other great things that PAK is involved with:

  • Anne Winchester, a member of the Prospect Community, came to a PAK meeting and showed the students how to paint using water colors. They made cards for the local rest home.
  • A representative came from Hospice of Union County to accept donations from PAK. We used money made from the doughnut sale. Our donations included freezer bags, bird seed, hospital gowns, and bed sheets. We will be sending donations throughout the year to Hospice.
  • The PAK club members potted 43 hanging baskets. Seven members, along with their parents, met at Union Park, a local rest home. We distributed 43 hanging baskets and hand painted cards to the residents at Union Park.
