Open Dream Ensemble Arts' Residency
The Open Dream Ensemble from NC School of the Arts, Winston-Salem, completed a two-week residency at BHESA on November 5. The group performed â€œPeril of the Red Planetâ€ to students on the first two days of the residency.
The ensemble then went into classrooms daily to teach science and social studies lessons for students in grades three through five. Students in third grade are learning about soil, fourth grade students are learning about rocks and minerals, while students in fifth grade are learning about landforms.
