Piedmont High FFA Activities Benefit Campus and Community
Members of the Piedmont High School FFA have been involved in projects this fall on campus and off to enrich their community. In September, the FFA joined the Piedmont High Environmental Club to clean up the campus to make the school more environmental friendly. The goal for the clean up was to make the Piedmont school campus a certified location in the NC National Habitat program.
In October, Piedmont FFA conducted a PALS (Partnership in Active Learning Support) program in which FFA students go to Unionville Elementary School and teach mini-lessons to third graders about the importance of agriculture. This year, the focus is on Dairy Production and showing the process that milk goes through to get from the farm to our tables.
