Ali Blythe Receives Student of the Month Award
Senior Ali Blythe received the Dale Jarrett Automotive Student of the Month Award on Friday, December 3rd. Students can be nominated by their teacher or principal for excellence in academics, athletic achievement, going above and beyond, most improved, outstanding character, or just being an all-around good student. This is a monthly program provided by Dale Jarrett Automotive. The recipients of the award are chosen from Union County Schools with one winner each month from an elementary, middle and high school.
Media Coordinator Regina Snelson nominated Ali because, "Working here in the media center in the Media Assistant class, Ali is thorough, responsible, hardworking and always going above and beyond my expectations. I am amazed at how much she does and how important it is to her to always do a good job. Many people do not realize the amount of work that goes into providing excellent customer service, making daily video announcements, helping with computer problems and promoting reading in our school. Ali does all of this every day."
Jeremy Rimmer from Dale Jarrett Kia presented Ali with a plaque, a $50 gift card from Barnes and Noble and a $50 Visa gift card. When asked about receiving the award, Ali said, "I was surprised, excited and thankful to be recognized."
