ePals Christmas Card Exchange
Mrs. Harmon's second grade class decided to participate in a global Christmas card exchange through ePals, a learning network where schools worldwide can collaborate, share ideas and learn about each other's culture.
Each student made a Christmas card and mailed it, snail mail, to one of nineteen countries worldwide. Most of the countries are in Europe. Now the class is receiving cards from all of these countries.
The students are locating these countries on maps and globes and using the Internet to look at pictures, and read about various cities, towns and schools from where the cards were sent.
Everyday the students eagerly wait to see what the mail brings!
