WUES PTO Helps Staff with Healthy Eating
WUES PTO is encouraging our staff to stay healthy. Our PTO purchased a new refrigerator and filled it to the brim with healthy snacks and drinks. Staff members have been attending wellness meetings provided by Presbyterian Hospital. We have learned different ways to become and stay healthy. The new refigerator was a great improvement in comparison to the old refrigerator that everyone had been using. The board members felt that more teachers would use the refrigerator if it worked properly and it would promote healthy eating and good nourishment throughout the day. PTO used funds from their family nights to cover the cost of the refrigerator and volunteers brought in the healthy snacks and drinks. This was a great way for the families to show support and benefit the school. Having a new refrigerator is greatly appreciated by all WUES staff members. We love our PTO.
