Bridge Academy Students Learn About Career Options

Students enrolled in the Monroe High School Bridge Academy's Trade and Industry classes participated in a presentation by Mark Danielson, Human Resource Generalist for Wayne J. Griffin Electric on Friday, February 25 in the school's Media Center. He shared with the group of students the career opportunities that are available as apprentices in the electrical and construction areas. He encouraged students to work hard on their NCCER (National Center for Construction Education Research) certifications while in the classroom. Students who have earned these certifications in high school are able to come into the apprenticeship program at a higher level.
