Stallings Family Literacy Night Was Seuss-tastic!

From Left to Right, Thing 1 (Mr. Bill Breckenridge, principal), Horton the Elephant (Mr. Dan Martelle, 3rd grade teacher), Thing 2 (Mrs. Laura Gaddy, assistant principal), The Grinch (Mr. Todd Humphrey, 4th grade teacher), and The Cat In The Hat (Mr. Andy Faulkenberry, Music Minister of Philadelphia United Methodist Church in Fort Mill, SC)

Stallings Elementary Families had a fantastic night of fun with dinner for the entire family, a reading from The Cat In The Hat himself (played by Andy Faulkenberry, Music Minister of Philadelphia United Methodist in Fort Mill, SC), visits from Thing 1 and Thing 2, Horton the Elephant, and the Grinch! The families celebrated Dr. Seuss by making a special dessert and rotating through lots of fun activities. Every child received a free book generously donated by Kohl's Corporate Office. The whole night was made possible by a grant from Target. A huge thank you to Ms. Kramb and her volunteers for putting together a Seuss-tastic night. Click here for a peek at the video that Channel 14 put on their news that night.
