Mother-son dinner date
The annual Mother-Son dinner date was held on March 18. Over one hundred boys and their moms attended this year's event.
The Benton Heights gym was transformed into a banquet hall by several teachers and assistants. As the handsome couples arrived, the sons presented their date with a color-changing carnation. They were able to have professional photographs taken by Our Heritage Studios.
Olive Garden and Creative Catering Concepts catered the dinner--spaghetti, salad, bread, and dessert. After dinner, everyone was treated to a Fire and Ice Science show, presented by Mad Science.
Boys were thrilled with hands-on demonstrations of fire, blowing steam from dry ice, and seeing moms covered in a bubble shower. Each boy received a science beaker filled with candy as a treat. Parents donated the candy for the treat.
One student announced that he now wants to be a mad scientist when he grows up. It was a fun-filled evening for everyone.
We hope you enjoy the following video which documents the evening.
