Our Auction is the Largest Ever! We raised $21,000!

The auction was such a success!

Our 7th Annual Silent Auction was held March 25th, and it was our largest to date!  We had over 400 items for the auction and 36 items for our school raffle.  Our PTO worked harder than ever, and we owe them a huge thanks.  This year's theme was called March Madness to align with the reading incentive program going on, as well.   Along with the classroom baskets, each class worked on classroom art projects to auction off.  Proceeds for the auction will go toward more playgrounds and our EC children's playground.

Some items for the auction were:  an iPod shuffle, Charlotte Checkers tickets, a Bobcat jersey, a $300 Target gift card tree, a Rock and Roll music basket, Principal and Assistant Principal for a Day, Broadcaster for a Week (and a day), a popcorn maker, a signed Carolina Panther football, dental services, jewelry, and vacations to the Grey Wolf Lodge,  Charleston, and Myrtle Beach.  People also bid on special days/events provided by the teachers. There even was a day at the fire station sold that included a ride with the firefighters!

Along with the auction and raffle, the PTO entertained the students with a Mad Science Fire and Ice Show, sold Donato's Pizza and ice cream.  Fun was had by all!  The PTO and room mothers worked endlessly to make this work so well.  A special thanks to Deb Roberson who spearheaded the auction for the PTO.
